Finding Merlin: The story of the human development journey

As many of you know, our director, Kate Cowie/about/who-are-we/kate-cowie/ has been researching and writing a book, Finding Merlin, with her colleague, Dr Ken Ideus, for six years now, and they have finally committed to a publication date of Christmas 2010!  Kate has many long nights ahead of her as she works to complete the manuscript.  Meantime, we are able to reserve a limited number of pre-publication copies at the very discounted rate of £12 for those who would like to pre-order a copy.

Travelling the U' in our learning zone

Our Learning Zone is a network of women leaders in the Aberdeen area who meet periodically, at half-day events facilitated by Kate Cowie, to explore and resolve the things that matter to them.  Their method is Dialogue, blended with lecturettes, experiential exercises, reading assignments and storytelling.

Executive Coaching: it’s all in the relationship!

In November, Kate Cowie/about/who-are-we/kate-cowie/  spoke at the 7th HR Management and Human Capital Conference in Nicosia, Cyprus on the subject of executive coaching.  Here is an extract from her speech:

The Senior Leader's Challenge

Dr Rick Harris, Dr Frances Baldwin, Dr Ted Tschudy, and Kate Cowie all of whom are associates of The Chaos Game, have been invited by The Executive Director of The NTL Institute for Applied Behavioural Science to design and deliver a new leadership development programme for senior executives which will be offered in Oxford in 2010.  We are very excited about this development!
