Richard Mindel is a Business Psychologist with 30 years experience as a practitioner in leadership, team and organisation development. He specialises in coaching and developing leaders, and facilitating and developing teams in private and public sector organisations.
Before becoming independent, Richard worked in internal leadership and organisation development roles in BP International and Shell UK. He was also a Psychologist in the UK Government and has worked in new product development and qualitative research n assignments for a range of companies and advertising agencies.
Richard is interested in helping teams to find practical ways forward that harness the potential of every member of the team. He has special expertise in leadership development, executive coaching, career management and team development. He is valued as a team facilitator and coach for his energy, insight, creativity and genuine interest in people. He enjoys creating a stimulating and challenging environment where leaders can explore different viewpoints. Drawing on practical frameworks and tools, he enables people to discover new perspectives and improve performance and build confidence and independence.
His clients have included BBC, BNFL, BP International, GSK, Hess Ltd, Imperial College London, Kingfisher, the National Health Service, Oracle, Shell International, Statoil, Sun Microsystems, West London Mental Health Trust and W H Smith.
Richard is a chartered psychologist and graduate of Aston and Lancaster University. He lives in London and is married with a 21 year old son and a 19 year old daughter.
